History

A few years ago Markus Jeanneret merged his career as a lighting technician with his fascination for Santa Claus. He specialized in the business of Christmas lighting. You may call him a pioneer, having been the first who professionally equipped houses and gardens with Christmas decor and lights, as it was just known from overseas. Today, he can be characterized in the field of Christmas lights and their installations with good conscience as a sector leader. For example, he transforms annually Central station in Basel and the main station in Bern in a Christmas landscape. The Christmas tree at the marketplace in Basel also shines through Jeanneret hands.

In 2001, the self-proclaimed Santa Claus also decided to put the monotony of Christmas trees an end and began to design and produce his own collection of Christmas Ornaments. In 2004 the first products came on the market. Today the jm-collection includes nearly 200 Glass Ornaments in different variations and forms. Creative and accurate in every detail, elaborate glass ornaments, blown by specialists and affectionately painted.

After the sale of our products for years confined to the Advent season in the garden cottage and the Basel Christmas market, we opened in November 2010 in the Schmiedenhof in Basel a shop, which is open all year round. We have something that millions of children around the world are dreaming of: 365 days of Christmas a year!
